Crawlspace Encapsulation in Troy, Al

Challenge: Mrs. Adams called our office with issues of cold floors and some water pooling at their crawlspace door. When I arrived we walked through the interior of the home and checked for any other issues and noticed the floors buckling a bit. Typically this is another sign of excessive moisture. We walked outside and I looked at the gutters and exterior drainage. Then we proceeded into the crawlspace where there was a small mud puddle near their hot water heater. I asked if they have had any issues with water reaching that height and they said they had to have it raised recently. Upon further inspection there was channeling of water along the exterior walls where water is running toward the door/hot water heater. Also visible was a slight beginning of fungal growth due to the amount of moisture.
